North Olympic Healthcare Network (NOHN) is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center that makes comprehensive, fully integrated health care available to any one of the approximately 70,000 residents of our service area. We have Level 3 recognition Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and offer our patients high-quality integrated care including primary medical care (adult medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics), pharmacy, dental care, psychiatry, and behavioral health services regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.

We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

What we’re looking for:

• A Pharmacy Technician that is passionate about community health
• A professional committed to assisting the whole community with health equity as a value
• Comfort/experience with Electronic Health Record use, specifically Epic
• A leader committed to the mission and culture of NOHN

Responsibility:

• Ensures compliance with all licensure and governing body requirements including but not limited to, Washington State Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Office of Pharmacy Affairs
• Support the start-up and growth of outpatient and clinical pharmacy operations
• Support Pharmacy Director, Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Technicians in the operation of clinical pharmacy and retail pharmacy practices
• Develops and executes a comprehensive and strategic business plan for the pharmacy including departmental budget planning and oversight
• Ensures compliance with all contractual obligations and purchasing agreements with vendors and payers
• Evaluate and improve policies and procedures related to the pharmacy with a vision of continuous improvement

Port Angeles is located on the North Olympic Peninsula, approximately two hours west of Seattle, and ninety minutes by ferry from Victoria, British Columbia. It is nestled between Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. We have three primary care sites and two outpatient pharmacies in Port Angeles, they are modern facilities designed to provide efficient, high-quality patient care. As one of the largest primary care providers in the area, we have consistently high demand for our services.
